ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely block, I like the way you've done the snow. I participated in Kristy at Quiet Play's And Sew On BOM last year and loved it.
ReplyDeleteI came over from the GYB hop and love what I see so I just clicked to follow
ReplyDeleteI have never done a Block of the Month but would like to try it. I just don't know that I'd follow through with it! I know I'd like some of the blocks and not others so I wouldn't finish. But...I do find blocks that I like and then create a quilt around those blocks. In this case.. I love your house block. I am planning on making a quilt or a table cover (54"x54") with houses around the sides so your block might be in that creation! Thanks for the drawing!
ReplyDeleteI follow you via email. I like to read NOW and not filter through facebook or other venues!
ReplyDeleteI am a follower via Google. Thanks for a chance

ReplyDeleteI did a BOM with my LQS that was all batiks, and was simply lovely. The blocks weren't big, and they were easy to do so that made it great for me.

ReplyDeleteI participated in a Forest galorist BOM last year and loved it. It broke down a difficult (for me) quilt to more manageable parts and now I am doing complicate quilts more easily. I love BOM's. Good idea with the Minnesota snow.

ReplyDeleteI am currently participating in the Block Party through Quilt In A Day with Eleanor Burns. I'm still on the first part, but am very excited about this project.
ReplyDeleteI may have to try one your block of the months
ReplyDeleteI am very new to fabshophop, just started sewing again after many years. I have never been involved in the BOM's but as I have been hopping around I see some great quilts I'd liked to do. I just don't want to do anything too hard in the beginning. What about fringe, for the snow???? I live in Cali, we will be 78 degrees today. NO SNOW HERE.
ReplyDeleteI haven''t done one yet, but Berite's Year looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteLove your cozy cabin with the added snow on the roof, adorable!
